Today we give thanks for this beautiful community and eight years of hustl+flow
Eight years of early mornings, late nights, big ideas, questionable decisions, happy accidents, growing pains, belly laughs, a few tears, and an extraordinary amount of love and sweat.
Eight years of this beautiful, unruly, ever-evolving thing we call hustl+flow.
And somehow, it feels like we’re still just getting started.
When we opened our doors, we had a fairly simple idea. To create a place where people could move their bodies in different ways, feel good, work hard, have fun, find community, and hopefully a little more of themselves along the way.
What we didn’t know was what it would become once we let other people into it.
You can dream up a space, build the walls, obsess over every detail. But you can’t manufacture the feeling of a place.
That part comes from the people.
Somewhere along the way, strangers became friends and the studio became a meeting place, a refuge, a ritual, a second home.
We’ve watched people fall in love, have babies, lose loved ones, start over, and move through all the ordinary and extraordinary things that make up a life. What a privilege to witness even a little piece of it.
We may have started hustl+flow, but every person who has walked through our doors has helped make it what it is. We’re all co-creators of whatever this magic is.
To our team, past and present, and everyone who has ever shown up, brought a friend, or stuck with us through the growing pains. Thank you.
Small business is deeply personal, wildly unpredictable, and occasionally heartbreaking, but each of you have helped to make it one of life’s greatest joys for so many.
Here’s to eight years of all of it. The messy, the magic, and everything in between.
