Hello Golden Hawks!

A new semester means another chance to claim the title of Laurier’s top climber at the Laurier Rockwall’s Midterm Bouldering Competition and After-Hours Climb on Wednesday, March 18th from 6:00 - 10:00 PM.

For just a $5 Sign-up fee, you can compete in our beginner friendly scramble-style comp, with prizes being awarded to the top five climbers. Whether you’re grade chasing, looking to de-stress before exams, or just wanting to hang out with other climbers (and enjoy some snacks), this is an event you won’t want to miss!

⭐️ HELLO LAURIER CLIMBERS ⭐️

Think you’ve got what it takes to crush a bouldering comp? Prove it at the Laurier Rockwall Boulder Bash on Monday, October 20th! The competition will run in two heats: the first from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and the second from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. With the $5 sign-up fee, you’ll have the chance to attempt 21 climbs in a scramble format. After both heats and all scorecards are submitted, we’ll email the individuals with the top three scores to claim their prizes at the rockwall. So, whether you’re chasing the podium, looking to test your skills, or wanting to meet other climbers in the Laurier community, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

okay always gotta go with blue for freezies it’s just the best colour and usually has a great taste

What is your favourite type of climb?
Ones where success is based purely on skill, no overly strengthy holds or anything, just a real test of technique and climbing skill. Those are the ones that are easiest to throw yourself at for hours on end because you know you’ll be able to do them EVENTUALLY‼️
