Interested in volunteering during VTAS Fair Days in Waskatenau? We'd love your help!

Call for Volunteers: VTAS Fair Days in Waskatenau

We’re gearing up for VTAS Fair Days in Waskatenau from August 7 - 9, 2026, and we need a few more amazing volunteers to help make it all happen! Here’s where we could use your help:

🔹 Parade Planning Committee (2 people)
Help us bring our Sunday morning parade to life! Tasks include reaching out to past participants and enlisting new ones, organizing registration paperwork, and helping coordinate on the day of the parade.

🔹 Security (4 people)
Help monitor hall entrances/exits on Saturday evening (approx. 4:30 - 10:00pm) to ensure drinks stay where they should. Bring a friend and keep each other company—bonus points for grey-haired volunteers!

🔹 50/50 Ticket Sellers (2 people)
Sell tickets during evening events (approx. 5:00–9:00pm Saturday). Must be 18+ and comfortable handling cash.

Volunteering is a great way to meet people, support your community, and be part of a fun weekend! Please note, timings are subject to change slightly as we finalize our program of events.

REMINDER FOR ALL MEMBERS: Locker Room Storage

All personal belongings must be kept in a bag with your name clearly legible, including shower supplies. Bags and tags are available in the locker rooms for your convenience while supplies last. (Be courteous—only take 1 per member.)

Items that are not properly identified will be placed in the lost and found bin located in the main hallway. Any items left in the bin for longer than 3 months will be discarded.

If you are a former member and would like to pick up any items you may have left behind, please contact us by the end of January.
