๐Ÿ“ฃ A Vision Shaped by 16,000+ Voices.

This is more than a master plan. It's a once-in-a-generation vision for the future of Wasaga Beach.

Over 16,000 residents, visitors, business owners, students and community stakeholders have contributed to the Destination Wasaga Master Plan, making it the largest public engagement effort our community has ever undertaken. Together, that input has helped shape a long-term vision for a more connected, vibrant and sustainable Wasaga Beachโ€”one that protects the natural features that make our community extraordinary, creates more year-round opportunities for residents and local businesses, strengthens our commercial tax base, helps reduce pressure on residential taxpayers, and builds on our unique natural and cultural assets to position Wasaga Beach as one of Canadaโ€™s most distinctive and extraordinary waterfront destinations.

Join Town staff and Urban Strategies as we unveil the Destination Wasaga Master Plan, a roadmap to reimagine the Town of Wasaga Beach as a vibrant, four-season destination that reflects the values and aspirations of our community. It is a plan grounded in a simple principle: a place where people love to live is a place people will want to visit.

Be among the first to see how your feedback has helped shape the future of Wasaga Beach.

BREAKING NEWS: Wasaga Beach Launches Ask Staff Anything Video Series - New rapid-fire videos give residents direct answers about Town projects, operations and finances

How does a road get selected for reconstruction? Why arenโ€™t taxes going down? What is the Town doing to take care of the beachfront, plovers and critical habitat? What happens after a building permit is submitted? Who plans Town events, maintains parks or manages major infrastructure projects?

Residents now have another way to get answers directly from the Town employees who do the work. The Town of Wasaga Beach is launching Ask Staff Anything a new video series that gives residents clear, straightforward information about municipal services, projects and day-to-day operations.

Presented in a short, rapid-fire question-and-answer format, the videos will feature Town leaders and subject matter experts answering questions they regularly receive from residents. The goal is to explain how municipal decisions are implemented, what work is underway and how Town services affect the community.
