The Wasa Lake Triathlon weekend has events for elites and newbies! Events include Tri-A-Tri (Super Sprint), Sprint and Standard Triathlon/Aquabike/Trikids events. A very popular weekend for individuals and families of all ages & abilities. Mason Hill has some cool family history at the Wasa event. Before the Wasa Lake Triathlon became an annual event there was a few Triathlon events (5?) held at Wasa over a span of 7 or 8 years. There was a short list of participants, Mason's dad Kevin Hill was one of the few youngsters who competed. He submitted the following. "I did the 1st Wasa Triathlon in 1986 "Rocky Mountain Challenge". I went to Kona IM world champs in Oct 2024. This was my son Mason in his first triathlon." Thank you for sharing Kevin.

Love the generations that come to race at Wasa.
A story from racer that we love to share:

"When my daughter was 10 and I was 40, our whole family did the Wasa Tri. Now I’m 60 and she is 30 and this is how we celebrated our birthdays! My hat is Wasa circa 2006! Next year the whole family, including one granddaughter who will be old enough plan to come out.
Thanks for an amazing day."

The finish-line is the ultimate moment, challenges were overcome, goals were met. The 2026 Wasa Lake Triathlon made sure everyone received a Finishers medal this year ... well done and congrats to all the amazing racers!
