Today we had the pleasure of welcoming direct descendants of Warman's namesake, American engineer, journalist, and author Cy Warman, to The Legends Golf Club.

Travelling from various parts of the United States, Christine Warman, Amy Warman Eaton, Scott Warman, Kirsten Warman Powers, and Trey Warman stopped by to visit the golf course and experience a true Saskatchewan spring day—wind and all!

Earlier today, the City of Warman proclaimed May 29, 2026, as Cy Warman Heritage Day in recognition of his legacy and connection to our community.

It was an honour to host the Warman family, and we thank them for including The Legends Golf Club as part of their visit.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for this year’s Two Person Scramble. It was a packed field, and coming out on top were Shane Reid and Brad Righi.

Brody Siebert put on an amazing show in our cart barn Saturday night, and the turnout was incredible. The Travis Mathew Experience made sure everyone was decked out in the latest gear, while BOSS Plumbing treated participants to BOSS Dogs on Saturday. Postal Pizza served up amazing pizza following Saturday’s round, and Graycon Catering kept everyone well fed after Sunday’s round. Popeyes Supplements also stepped up with a great tee gift for participants.

SaskTel Centre added to the excitement by providing two tickets to the Outskirts Music Festival, which were given away during Saturday night’s concert.

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Merlin Ford for contributing to the success of this event every year. Many other new and continuing sponsors include BOSS Plumbing, Legends Pharmacy, Great Western Brewing Company, TR Concrete, Oakcreek Golf & Turf, Reid & Sons Directional Drilling and Brett Young.

With all the recent precipitation we have made the decision to remain closed on Monday May 18th. Our turf care team will spend Monday pumping water from low lying areas and getting the course and practice facilities playable for Tuesday. The 'cart path only' rule will be in effect.

We never thought we'd have to pull this graphic out of the archives on May Long Weekend. Due to the current weather and forecasted weather for tomorrow our course and practice facilities will be closed for the remainder of the day, as well as Saturday. Our Pro Shop will be open until 4pm today and open tomorrow from 9am - 3pm if you need some retail therapy to get you through this weather slump. We'll update tomorrow around 3pm for course play on Sunday.

Our opening dates have been set. Starting May 5th our driving range will be open daily at 10:00am with the last bucket being sold at 6:00pm. Our course will be opening May 11th at 9:00am. Booking for members begins tomorrow, May 5th, at noon for May 11th and 12th. Wednesday May 6th the booking window will open as usual at 6:00am for members to book with their 7-day advance booking privileges.

Public players can begin booking for opening day on Thursday, May 7th at 6:00am. Then Friday May 8th can begin booking within the 5-day advance booking period.

All bookings can be made on our website, golfthelegends.com, using our new booking system. Please ensure your account is set up on the new Tee-On system to avoid any disruptions when booking your tee time.

Driving range usage is limited to the driving range mat only. No exceptions. The practice greens will remain closed until further notice.

Members should have received an email regarding our opening and booking information. If you did not receive an email please contact our pro shop at 306-931-8814.
