Located 15 minutes north of Saskatoon, the Legends has hosted a number of Saskatchewan Provincial Championships, including multiple Golf Saskatchewan Amateur Championships and the PGA of Saskatchewan Championship. With five different tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all ages and skill levels, The Legends Golf Club is a true test of golf for all to enjoy. As a true links style golf course, the Legends is protected by thick fescue, rolling fairways, and water coming into play on 10 of the 18 holes. COURSE UPDATE

Things have started to dry out enough that we’ve adjusted our cart rule to 90 degrees.

Pond levels remain high, with some water still on the fairways. We ask golfers to use caution when driving on the course and to stay well away from any areas that appear wet.

Hole 3 is now open; however, the green is still inaccessible by cart. Golfers must park their carts near the red tees and walk up the left side of the fairway to access the green.

The driving range is now open, but golfers will be required to hit off the mats for the next few days.

COURSE UPDATE

The driving range will remain closed for today.

We’ve decided to close Hole 3 for most of the day. To keep a full 18-hole round in play, Hole 4 will also be set up as a temporary par 3 to replace Hole 3.

Here’s how it will work:

• Play your first ball on Hole 4 as normal.
• As you approach the green, you’ll see a set of blue tee markers.
• From those markers, hit a second ball. This will count as Hole 3.
• There are two pins on the Hole 4 green: the front red pin is for Hole 4, and the back-right blue pin is for Hole 3.

The ponds have started to recede thanks to our pumping efforts; however, some water remains on the fairways.

COURSE UPDATE

We will be re-opening the golf course tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Those with impacted tee times have been notified.

The practice green and chipping green will open at 10:00 AM. Due to flooding, the driving range may not be able to open tomorrow. We’ll provide an update on the range as soon as we can.

The ponds on holes 9, 10 and 11 have risen onto the fairways. We are currently working to pump the water down, but it’s unlikely the water will have fully receded by tomorrow.

The cart path on Hole 3 is partially underwater. A detour will be in place; however, carts will need to park near the red tees, and golfers will have to walk from there to the green.

If you’re not up for the trek, you may want to skip Hole 3 for the time being!

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the wet conditions and get the course back up and running.

Due to the large amount of rainfall over the last couple of days we have made the decision to close the course and practice facilities for today. Many areas of the course are currently unplayable. Our turf care team will be spending the day trying to get as much water pumped off the course as possible.

Grab a partner and get ready for one of our favourite events of the fall! The PAR 3 Challenge returns on Saturday, October 3rd for a fun 2-person scramble with every hole set up as a Par 3.

With the days getting shorter our hours have changed. Our first tee time is at 6:30 with the driving range open at 6:00 and the last bucket being sold at 7:00pm. Effective September 7th our first tee time will be 7:00 and our range hours will be 6:30am with the last bucket sold at 7:00pm.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position helping with the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course. Duties may include mowing, course setup, bunker maintenance, trimming, cleanup and other general on-course maintenance.

We're looking for someone who:
⛳ Enjoys working outdoors
⛳ Is dependable and hardworking
⛳ Takes pride in their work
⛳ Is comfortable with early mornings
⛳ Works well as part of a team

Golf course experience isn't necessary — we're willing to train the right person.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Legends Senior Two Person Best Ball tournament that took place over the last two days. It was a competitive field and in the end Warren Proctor and Ken Rodgers took home the trophy in the men's category while Lory Rittwage and Debbie Davidson walked with the hardware in the ladies category. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated and we'll see you again next year!
