SHSAA wrestling Regional done .
Not the game plan we wanted but one wrestler will be going to provincials next week.

Remember if it was easy all the kids will be doing this sport ..so be proud , humble and let's work for next season.

SWG duals did not go our way we lost duals with 2 point to progress to the semi final match ...but we had a blast...we only had 10 athletes and should have had 12 but we got a fill athlete from South East in the lowest weight class this boy was solid, he wrestled boys easily 15-20 lbs heavier and had a mean high crotch. But Jebb placed 7th but his fighting spirit place 1st. Stella wrestled girls like 15- 20lbs heavier but her fighting spirit place 1st. She lost the bronze match and got 4th but there was a quick pin I don't agree with. We just need to stay consistent if we allow quick pins like that and keep it as fair as possible...

Thanks to Amy Janzen for all you did and how you manage the Lakeland team.

Team lake land needs a boy in 55 kg weight class .this will be waldheim , rosthern , PA , nippawin , carot river and might be in warman area as well.

We need boy in this 55kg weight class .needs to be born 2010 -2013 .this will be grade 7 to 10 age group. If you have wrestling experience or gymnastics why not give it a go..
