Huxley Hockey Conditioning Elite Hockey Development Adam Huxley has played 10 years of professional hockey playing in the AHL, ECHL with various organizations.

Adam also has 10 years’ experience coaching, training, and developing young hockey players on and off the ice. Adam has also helped a number of players reach their goals of playing Junior A, Major Junior, and NCAA hockey. Adam also runs his own off ice strength and conditioning training center HHC (Huxley Hockey and Conditioning) in the off season located in Wainwright AB.

The Cowichan Capitals are proud to congratulate Slade Firkus on being named the team's 2025-26 recipient of the Kyle Turris Community Award.

The award is given to BCHL players who go above and beyond in their community.

“Slade spends a lot of his spare time in the community, helping teach kids how to skate and play hockey, while also spending time at the seniors home. He is always willing and eager to put in the extra effort to get to know people of all ages in the community and build relationships that strengthen the bond between the Cowichan Valley residents and the team.”

🙏 🐴 Today, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League pauses to remember.

April 6 marks the eighth anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash — a tragedy that forever changed our league, our province, and communities across Canada.

In Humboldt, tributes will take place throughout the day. At approximately 4:50 p.m., the bells at St. Augustine Church will toll, marking the time of the crash.

107.5 Bolt FM will pause for a moment of silence, and a tribute video will be shared by the City of Humboldt, offering time to reflect and remember.

We stand with Humboldt and all those impacted, honouring the 16 lives lost and the strength of the survivors, families, and community.
