I spent this past weekend in Chandler AZ🌵 Taking a kinesiology taping for FST course! Most taping courses teach “protocols” for specific injuries. Where taping for FST focuses on the understanding of the fascia nets emphasized in the FST courses and how to add in the use of Kinesiotape as a movement based approach to decreasing pain, improving posture, function, and performance.

Low back and hip pain? It could be coming from your psoas muscle being tight.

The Psoas (aka your hip flexor) becomes tight when your leg or trunk stays in a flexed position for long periods of times. Although it is common for runners and bikers to have tight hip flexors, people that have desk jobs or drive lots will usually have low back pain caused by a tight Psoas.

I’m this video I am doing a Psoas release technique- going and pining the Psoas while it is being contracted (starting her leg in Flexion) and then having my client bring her leg into hip back to a neutral position will cause the muscle to lengthen.
