The Battle of the Sexes has come and gone. Even though, none of the women's teams won, there was representation in the 2nd and 3rd events.

There are many thanks to send out. To the curlers who participated because without the curlers, there would be no battle. We received a lot of positive feedback about how we structured the event. Thanks to the club members who helped out from preparing food and desserts, to cleaning the ice and the rink. Thanks for those who are not in our league, but helped us out as well. Special thanks to our sponsors for our events winners. Their monetary contributions certainly helped us out. Our sponsors this year were: Nolan Tysowski, RC Electric, Level Welding, and Konrad Narth.

Our 50/50 winner was Dylan Gurman. The bar fridge (graciously donated by Tytech) was won by Brian Baldwin.

It was a year with a lot of ups and downs, but we pulled through. So until next year.....

For the local kids who are interested. This looks interesting and it isn't too far away.

Head out to Morris for a one-day, fun-filled instructional youth camp focused on developing core curling fundamentals!
This camp will definitely improve your game!

Another season of Little Rock has come to an end. We hope the curlers had fun and will be back next year. We forgot to take a group picture and some presentation pics but here is a snapshot of today.

Now that we have 2 temporary hacks, today we had a "real" curling game. We tested their patience when they had to stay in the same position for the whole session. They figured out quite quickly when it was their turn to deliver or sweep. Some excellent shots were made.
