The Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series is BC’s premiere grassroots race series spanning Vancouver Island.

Round three of the Island Cup Enduro is in Port Alberni. This is a new race and course brought to you by the .

I bet most of you have never ridden here before so now’s a great time to sign up and explore the loamy, chunky rock slabs, and janky trails the Coombs Candy zone has to offer.

Registration opens on Friday May 1st at 8:00am.
Race on Sunday May 31st, 2026.

Round 5 of the Island Cup Series brings us to Powell River for the first Marathon XC in a long time.

There are two guarantees when it comes to mountain biking. If your riding in Powell River your going to have a good time. If your racing an event out on by , you’re going to have an even better time.

This is a race you don’t want to miss. There’s a different, one lap course for each category so you won’t ride the same trail twice. If this sounds like fun to you, register now!

Race information is available on the Island Cup website. The staging area is only a short pedal from the ferry terminal.

This weekend is round 4 of the Island Cup XC Series. The has another fast paced course set out but this year, the weather and conditions look perfect!

The Enduro is back for round 2 of the Island Cup Series.

The Sooke Bike Club has been hard at work preparing a fun race for everyone. As always, the trails are rough, natural, and beautiful out there. Like last time, we will be racing in the mountains then finishing the race by the ocean at the and the Sooke Oceanside Brewery.

Registration opens on April 3rd @ 8:00am. The last race sold out by 11:00 am so make sure you sign up in the morning to get a spot.

Round two of the Island Cup XC Series is coming up! April 5th we will be in Powell River racing a new course.

There’s lots of excellent riding in Port Alberni so if you haven’t been there before, stop by or check out and ask them for their recommendations.

Registration for Round 1 of the Island Cup Enduro Series opens March 19th @ 8:00am.

The is putting on another fantastic race at Mt. Tzouhalem. We have 5 stages and a BBQ out on by the .

will be back on course with all the candy and extra snacks you will need. is supplying us with their best Hornby Bars to make sure you have all the fuel you need to finish the race.

New for this year is a e-bike category. This is the first time we are incorporating e-bikes into the Island Cup so please email us your feedback.

Round one of the Island Cup Series is less than one week away!

It’s a packed weekend at the Jordie Lunn Bike Park. .cc and are opening up the season by hosting the Island Cup race on Sunday. There’s also a Canada Cup race on Friday and Saturday.

There’s going to be a lot of racers so come for the weekend and check out and spectate.

We have an exciting lineup of 7 races this year including a marathon race in Powell River. Yes, you can collect series points at every race including the Provincial Championships.
