Crag X Climbing Gym Open since 1995, Crag X is Victoria's downtown Climbing Gym. Victoria'a downtown climbing gym. Crag X tries to be a welcoming space for all people.

We hope to have people of all ages and athletic abilities in our gym. We also try to make sure we don’t exclude people of your race, colour, s*x, age, national origin, religion, s*xual orientation, gender identity or citizenship. We think every human can understand the joy that comes from climbing. People climb for all kinds of reasons: friendship, fitness, adventure, to learn a new skill, to give

their mind some calm and focus, to get strong, to get flexible, to conquer their fear of heights, to practice for outdoor climbing, to see if they like it, to be brave, to challenge themselves, to relax, and to learn from trying and falling and trying again.

Going back to school? Add climbing to your curriculum with our discounted beginner lesson on September 11th!
Join 23 other students for a classic evening of climbing starting with a 2.5h lesson followed by POWER HOUR (our version of happy hour).
The lesson includes our signature 2 week membership, all the equipment you need on sept 11th, and the ability to belay for new climbers so you can take a friend climbing next time!

Rock Talk is just around the corner and we’re looking to add another voice to the mix!

Rock Talk is a chance for climbers and outdoor adventures to come together and share their experiences. This year, we have a new theme: Mentorship and Newcomers. We want to celebrate those of you who challenged yourself to try something new and to hear your experience as you grappled with preparation, adapting to different challenges, and the feeling of facing inexperience head on.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to AUGUST 15TH. We have one spot left for presentations so if you’re interested we encourage you not to dilly dally. No story or experience too small.
