Hey Tigon family
I hope you are all well and staying safe!
I wonder how many of you are running through your curriculum daily?
Some of you are no doubt applying student creed # 5 and are working hard to achieve the things you believe in... others, not so much. If you believe in the value of taekwondo you will practice, practice and practice. If you don't you will put it off until some other time. Remember: Procrastination is a silly thing, it only causes sorrow, but I can quit it any time, I think I will - TOMORROW!!
It looks like things are going to be shut down for awhile yet, but in BC and especially on the Island we are all doing a great job of our civic duty to stay home and practice personal hygiene and physical distancing.
No student fees are expected, nor cheques cashed during this time of uncertainty unless you generous souls contact me to go ahead - your guess is as good as mine how this will effect the future - but for now we just have to make it through today, and then tomorrow, and then the next day.
This pandemic will come to an end - we just don't know when... and we need to adapt and make this our new reality. We need to learn to live with uncertainty. We can and with continued practice (practice, practice, practice) we will. Human beings do not like change - we are creatures of habit - but we are extremely adaptable given time, and we will adapt to this.
I am still thinking about online classes so if you are interested (parents and students) please let me know. There is no sense developing a program if there is little or no interest.
In the meantime, there is taegeuk poomse demonstrated on the website or Google WTF taegeuk poomse and select a level you are comfortable with.
I am well and getting all my backdated house and yard projects completed. Keep practicing your curriculum, especially poomse, follow Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix's guidelines and don't worry about what is happening in the rest of the world as you have no control or influence there. Do your part and do it well!
Keep calm and kihap!
