I know this is a life long endeavour, and extremely situational. I believe this is an invaluable practice.

Right now with my practice in acupuncture and love coaching I am really focussing on what safety is. What makes you feel safe? What makes people feel safe around you? In the Book, the six pillars of self-esteem by Nathaniel Brandon he talks about high self-esteem existing when these two things come together - Believing you can cope with whatever life brings your way, and to believe you deserve to be happy. that your needs and wants are sacred. Both of these need to come together to create high self-esteem, and Usually, we are stronger in one of those than the other. I believe when we have high self-esteem. We are a safer human. We don’t enmesh, we can hold stronger space, we can hold and feel, all the feels. This creates us to be better friends, lovers, allies… when we are safe in ourselves, we will be safe for others.

Your face is a living map. In traditional Chinese medicine, your face is a microcosm of your body. an inner map where every shade tells a story about your inner health and emotions. Face reading is an ancient technique. it suggests that our internal organs speak to us through the colours on our skin.
🖤black/dark - the water element. Dark circles or shadows under the eyes. are often in the first signs of kidney fatigue, or a lack of deep rest. it reflects the emotions of fear, or chronic stress.
💚the wood element- this colour is associated with the liver and gallbladder. A greenish hue, especially around the temples. can indicate that the liver energy is struggling to maintain the smooth flow of tea and blood.
❤️fire element- often appears on the cheeks or nose and can signal heat or inflammation in the body it is also the colour of joy. A sudden flesh may indicate that the heart is working overtime.
💛earth element - a solo or yellowish tint can often point towards the spleen and the digestive system in the world of emotions it’s deeply linked to worry and overthinking.
🤍the metal element- a pale complexion can indicate a deficiency of qi or blood circulation. It can also indicate cold in the body. it is the colour associated with the lungs and large intestine, and the emotion of grief.
The next time you look in the mirror, notice what you see as a message. Your body is a self regulating wonder constantly giving you clues on how to return to balance. what colour do you notice the most today?

Is the truth you’re afraid to say, the intimacy you are craving? When we withhold our truth to avoid hurting someone, we create the disconnection we are trying to prevent. We stay quiet to keep the peace, avoid conflict, or spare someone’s feelings – but in doing so we build walls. The unsaid becomes a barrier. Resentment grows and intimacy fades. Real intimacy requires truth. Not harshness, not blame. But the courage to be honest – even when it’s uncomfortable. Truth is the foundation of trust, and trust is the foundation of safety. In the relationships were building, can we make it safe to say anything – no matter what!? Not because it’s easy, but because it’s real. Because love that invites truth, holds it with compassion, and stays present throughout. That’s the kind of love that lasts. Truth plus safety equals intimacy always. Let’s build relationships where nothing needs to be hidden. If you’re ready to create that kind of love, let’s talk!

Breath deep, let go - support your body this Fall 🍁 🔥 🩷
In traditional Chinese medicine Fall is the season of the metal element. Connected to the lungs, large intestine, and the gentle art of letting go. This time of the year invites us to slow down, reflect, and realign releasing what we no longer need - physically and emotionally.
If you notice you’re feeling a bit stuck, off, tired or tender you are not alone. Try taking big deep breaths, clear out clutter inside and out, and try acupuncture with me to balance, and love up your metal element.
This improves immunity , breath and emotional clarity (especially around grief).
When metal is in harmony, we feel clear, resilient, and ready to receive🩷

Does relationship mean you compromise and sacrifice to stay close to another? Or is your relationship a collaboration? Where you produce or create something together that you never knew was possible because each persons needs were met. I’m not saying it’s easy, but does that possible to you?!
I believe if two people are united with this philosophy magic and healing happens.

As I work on my on my Major for Ta**ra and relationships, I have come across many inner realizations. I wanted to share that relationships are not just about two people, it is about two inner children, two inner biology‘s, four ancestral lineages, two hearts, two ge****ls, two inner judges and critics, two primal brains, two stories, two karma‘s, two spiritual paths, and often a lot of emotional baggage from the past. This really helps to understand why relationships can feel so complicated, challenging, and deep. They can be such an opportunity to heal and evolve, or not.❤️❤️
