We could say the weekend didn’t end as we hoped but that wouldn’t be the complete truth. These young women and their families walked away from the ball field with unforgettable memories, countless stories, never-been-done moments and an unmatched passion for the sport and that’s all we could hope for. They played with heart and they left it all on the field as they always do. Their passion for softball and for their team was on display all weekend long. We could not be more proud, more grateful or more tired! Thank you to our coaches, we are so lucky to have you all as part of our ball family. Thank you parents and siblings for coming along for the ride and helping everyday in every way to make this happen! We can’t wait to see what this gang does next!

Our final round robin game was delayed due to weather, and after some schedule shuffling, we drew the short straw and were placed in the last time slot of the night with our game starting at 10:30 pm Saturday night. First pitch didn’t cross the plate until closer to 11:00 pm, due to more delays, and the last pitch was in the glove at 1:04 am Sunday morning. With 4 wins and 2 losses, we secured our spot at playoffs — our first playoff game started at 9:00 am Sunday morning. After a few hours of sleep, the players were back at the field. It was a tight game but we weren’t able to pull out a win so our weekend on the field was over. We finished 4th overall in Western Canada and for that, we are so very PROUD 🇨🇦 🥎

And that’s a wrap — Hey! No! Wait! Thats not it! We’re going to Westerns! This team went undeated all weekend until we met our match in the Gold Medal game. Congratulations to Delta Inferno for taking home the gold. We ran away with the silver hardware and are headed to Brandon, Manitoba as the BC1, the highest ranking team attending from BC.

The 2025 tournament was the next stop for this team. Coming out of round robin play, we were 2-2 with great games against teams from BC, Alberta and Washington State! We battled through winning our first playoff game but unfortunately couldn’t pull out another win ending our last time at Canada Cup 🇨🇦 As always, it was an experience of a lifetime for these ball players!
