Hey everyone!

As of a couple weeks ago all pre-orders have been shipped!!

It looks like the majority of people have received their stands, and we’ve even had the first buck taken out of a Hitch by a customer (shoutout Kurt Duguay 👏).

The feedback so far has been overwhelming, it's incredible to see people loving the product as much as we'd hoped. We also really appreciate the recommendations that have been coming in - we’re actively looking into integrating any tweaks that we feel will improve the products.

We can’t thank each and every one of our early backers enough for the support that’s helped bring Hitch to life. We understand the risks that come with supporting a startup so thank you again for taking the chance on us.

In the coming weeks we’ll be focused on building up some inventory that’ll help us get orders shipped quickly when we open sales back up (we’re aiming for late October).

If you'd like to join the waitlist for our restock , follow this link and then click "guarantee my spot in the next batch": https://hitchtreestands.com/products/hitch-treestand

We also plan on hosting some sort of “Best Buck Out of a Hitch” competition through our socials, so make sure you’re following us on FB and IG (https://www.instagram.com/hitchtreestands/) and stay tuned for details on how to enter and what the prize(s) will be.

We’re stoked to see some of the results this season so for those hunting out of a Hitch stand please don’t hesitate to send us some pictures or tag us on socials!

Looking a little further out - additional products are also on our radar, so stay tuned for those (we’d also love feedback on what you guys would like to see from Hitch so don’t hesitate to reach out).

Once again thank you all SO MUCH for the patience and support as we sorted out all the kinks over the last several months, none of this is possible without you!!

Hey guys,

Firstly, my apologies for the lack of posts and updates. Launching a company is new to me, so please bear with me. Between waiting on parts from other companies and a pretty serious hand injury at work, I'm working hard to get your stands to you before the season. I'm on track to be shipping July through August. Again, my apologies, and I really appreciate everyone's support, patience, and understanding.

Hey everyone!

As you may know, tomorrow is launch day 🚀

As promised, we wanted to follow up with a brief post outlining what to expect (we launch at 8am EST):

Launch location: www.hitchtreestands.com

Products available on the website:

- Hitch Treestands Launch Package (1 Stand, 2 Sticks)
- The Original Hitch Treestand
- The Original Hitch Climbing Sticks (Sold Individually)
- Additional Rope (Stands and sticks do each come with a rope)
- Cam Buckle Strap (stands automatically come with a rope, but these are for those who would rather a cam buckle)

Early tomorrow morning we'll make a post with a link to the site, and all products will be in stock.

As mentioned previously, please reach out if you have any questions or need help with an order, we'll do everything in our power to ensure a smooth process (the site isn't perfect yet so please bear with us) 🙏

To everyone planning on placing an order tomorrow - we genuinely can't thank you enough. We really appreciate all the feedback and support we've received so far.

We're stoked to get some Hitch Treestands out into the world!!

Hey everyone, we have a launch date!

The Hitch Treestands site will be going live on Thursday, April 4th at 8am EST. 🎉

Stands and sticks currently show "sold out" on the site. This is only because the site isn't quite finished, they're not sold out. As soon as the site goes live both stands and sticks will be available for purchase.

One thing to clarify: Why are we launching on our own website rather than Kickstarter like we originally planned?

When we were building the Hitch audience, we got a lot of negative feedback around launching on Kickstarter. It seemed many people didn't know what it was, didn't know how it worked, or didn't have accounts. We decided to pivot and have our own site built to simplify things.

On April 3rd, and April 4th (launch day), everyone will get an email with instructions outlining where to purchase (it'll just be on the Hitch website). We'll also post the contents of that email to the FB page.

If anyone experiences any issues while purchasing shoot us a message and please bear with us, we'll be doing everything in our power to make sure the launch goes smoothly.

The site won't be perfect on launch day, we're going to be having professional photography done shortly etc., but we don't want to delay launch anymore so that will come a bit later.

We also want to once again apologize for the delays and lack of ongoing communication, we work full time jobs outside of Hitch, and there is A LOT that goes into getting this off the ground.

We MASSIVELY appreciate everyones patience and willingness to be early users of Hitch, and we're stoked to have you all hunting out of these stands this season.

Thanks so much everyone!!

Hey everyone!

Apologies for the lack of updates over the past couple weeks.

We're currently working hard to implement the final tweaks to the launch model of the stand and it's taken a bit longer than expected.

We're planning to post some content of the final product within the next week, and the plan is still to launch in early-mid March. 👍

Between now and then we're in the process of building our new website that will also go live on launch day.

We appreciate the patience and continued support, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Happy New Year everyone! We hope the holidays have been good to you.

We wanted to post some quick how-to videos of the Hitch stand and stick setup in action.

We also wanted to outline a couple changes that you’ll see before launch based on some initial feedback:

- Adding a second lower cleat to the stands post for people who want the option to double rope it
- Lowering the cleat a bit on the sticks to increase stability
- Slightly beefing up the seat and stick posts

There are a couple more tweaks we’re making/features we’ll be adding that we’ll post about in the next couple weeks too 👍

Thanks again to everyone for the support so far, we truly appreciate it. We’re super excited to make you all some wicked stands in 2024!

Hey everyone!

We've been getting a lot of questions on the size of the stand over the past few days. To be clear, these are the current dimensions:

Seat Dimensions: 10 7/8" x 8"
Platform Dimensions: 23 3/4" x 16"
Height from platform to seat: 17 1/2" not including cushion

For context, I had initially built this stand for personal use and hadn't considered taking it to market until I started having friends (and then random people) interested in having one made. I'm 5'10" and 170lbs, so the original dimensions were built specifically for me.

I do believe the current size is a great fit for people much bigger than me (I have friends that are bigger that are hunting out of the stand and love it).

That said, based on initial feedback we'll definitely be looking to add larger dimension models post Kickstarter launch. 👍

Really appreciate all the support and feedback so far. Thanks everyone!
