Hello Spin Stars!
Scotty here from the Loft to let you know about options for a Threshold Power test that we will be hosting in The Loft.
There will be 2 dates for this test: Thursday January 4th at 5:30pm and Saturday January 6th at 9:00am.
Please note these are not regular spin classes, the focus will be on a 20 minute effort. Please don’t sign up for these classes if you don’t care about your power numbers.

To get the most out of a Power test I recommend a few things:
• Come rested and bring your “A Game”. Don’t do a huge ride or big workout the day before.
• Don’t eat a big meal before the class. I usually don’t eat 3 hours prior to a hard effort like this, if you must eat before, keep it light.
• Hydrate well before. Not too much water right before class but make sure you are drinking lots the day before and enough the day of.

Any questions let me know. I will be coaching both classes. I have done many of these tests so I can speak from experience.
Don’t be nervous, all you have to do is ride hard. I will take care of all the technical stuff and keep everyone organized.

Some great new classes will be added this fall. We are bringing the early bird spin classes back on Wednesday and Friday at 6:30am. We have an awesome new coach Laura Ockenden that will be coaching a super friendly, great for beginner, Friday afternoon class at 4:00pm. Finally Yoga instructor Heidi Mierau is back and hosting 2 morning yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30am.

Our last spin class for the season is tomorrow, Saturday April 15th. You can still use your passes for our Friday morning 6:30 yoga throughout the summer. Join us outside on our Monday 6:00pm and Saturday 8:30am group rides from April to September.

We are excited to add Heidi Mierau to our team of instructors at The Loft. She will be leading a Yoga Hour class on Friday mornings (6:30am) for 2017.
