Island Race Series

The Vancouver Island Runners’ Association (VIRA) promotes running on Vancouver Island by hosting and facilitating the Vancouver Island Race Series (VIRS).

The series is entering its 43rd year in 2023. From Sooke to Sidney and from Cobble Hill to Courtney eight races from 5K to the half-marathon are operated with live timing, certified courses and wonderful post-event celebrations.
