Axekids Victoria This is a place where all things related to Capoeira, Kids Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian culture can be shared by those who enjoy it most!

Capoeira for children, youth, and families in Victoria and entire BC. The Kids class has been functioning since 2001 in the 700 block of Yates Street. Many children have used the children's Capoeira program as a enjoyable and energetic stepping stone into many of their other endeavors related to music, athletics, dance and a wide variety of interpersonal engagements. There are also some students that have stayed in the program to perform, teach and become international leaders within the group.

We are excited to welcome Professor Kallado back to our teaching team!

Kallado began his Capoeira journey in 2006 at just 9 years old. Over nearly 20 years of dedication to the art, he has become a three-time Capoeira World Champion, Adult Absolute Champion in Colombia, and winner of a featured match at CWC Brazil.

Having taught in both the United States and Canada, he continues to share the energy, discipline, and culture of Capoeira with students of all ages.

This season, Professor Kallado will be leading our Minis, Kids, Youth, and Adult classes.

Tuesday/Thursday
5:30-6:30 pm - beginners/intermediate (6+ yo)
6:30-7:30 pm - advanced.
