**And that's a wrap!** 😊✨

Last week marked the end of another fun-filled session of Preschool Fun Dance at SeaParc Recreation! This session was especially meaningful for me, as it was the last weekly session that I will personally be teaching at SeaParc.

It has truly been a pleasure dancing each week with the many wonderful Sooke families I've had the opportunity to meet over the years. Thank you for all the smiles, laughter, energy, and memories we've shared along the way! ❤️

But don't worry - the dancing isn't going anywhere! Aloha Fit has been growing, and we're excited to welcome some amazing new dance instructors to our team to carry on the fun weekly classes. Stay tuned as we introduce these wonderful teachers in the next little bit!

And that's not all! I'll also be hosting family dance party events every couple of months, featuring dancing, musical jam sessions, arts and crafts, and plenty of fun for the whole family. 🎶🎨💃

Thank you again, Sooke, for your support over the years. It's been such a joy being part of your community, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds! 😊🎢🐠

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to teach a hula workshop with the Victoria Ballroom Dance Society www.vbds.org . What a great night with a wonderful group of amazing dancers - plus, quite possibly the biggest group I have taught so far! A big mahalo to VBDS for having me! ☺️🌺🌴

The last session ever of Preschool Fun Dance with Cheryl starts TOMORROW at ! If you have been meaning to join, don't miss out on this last Spring Session! For ages 1 - 5 with a parent or caregiver, this session runs May 12th to June 9th on Tuesdays from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm. Come shake your sillies out, jump around, and quite possibly turn into a train. Last week, we did a thing. It was the last class of the second winter Hula for Health session. A while ago, some of the hula ladies were having chats about aprons. Well one thing got to another, and 'Apron Hula' was born! Our last class of the session was just a bit extra fun, donning our aprons while we danced. Why, pray tell? Because we like hula. We also like aprons. And that is all. 😎🌴🥥

We have ONE MORE weekly session of Hula for Health coming up with before Aloha Fit discontinues weekly classes in Victoria!! Come join us on Thursdays at Monterey Rec Center in Oak Bay, from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, starting May 14th and ending June 18th (for ages 50 & up). Only 3 spots currently remain!!

After a few weeks away, it's so nice to be back at Oakland's with all these lovely ladies - a 6-week break was way too long!!

Aloha Fit Hawaiian Dance Fitness - Wednesdays at 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM

Seniors Hula - Wednesdays at 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM (50+ recommended but everyone is welcome!)

Classes run until June 10th, with no class on May 6th. Both classes are tot / baby friendly. Drop in is available!!

The second winter session of Hula for Health (50+) starts TOMORROW at Monterey Oak Bay and only 2 spots remain! This is the second to last weekly session that will be held in Oak Bay. If you ever wanted to join our classes, this is the time!

Hula is not only good to keep you active, but is a great way to sharpen the mind and improve balance and coordination. Added perks include boosts of confidence, laughter, and friendship.
