We are always interested in connecting with great coaches.

Beyond Fitness is a coaching-focused personal training studio in Victoria built around professional autonomy, consistent clients, and a high-level training environment.

Our coaches maintain a high degree of independence in how they coach, program, and manage their schedules. We believe strong coaches do their best work when they are trusted as professionals rather than micromanaged through rigid systems or scripted approaches.

Our coaches spend more time coaching and less time chasing leads, selling memberships, or constantly rebuilding their schedules.

We work primarily with adults 40+ who are serious about their health and value long-term guidance, professionalism, and expertise.

Most people have experienced the cycle before.

Something starts hurting, you go for treatment a few times, you’re given exercises to do at home… and a few months later the same issue is back again.

Matt’s approach is different.

As Beyond Fitness’s Athletic Therapist, Matt works directly on the gym floor helping clients rebuild strength, movement, and resilience in a way that actually carries over into everyday life.

Rather than isolated treatment sessions, the focus becomes long term support, individualized programming, and helping people build bodies that can better handle the demands of work, training, and daily life over time.

As a former professional climber, Matt understands firsthand how years of stress, repetitive movement, injuries, and everyday life can accumulate in the body — and how thoughtful strength and movement work can help people stay active with more confidence and fewer setbacks.
