It’s with a mix of gratitude and a touch of bittersweetness that we share some news about Iron & Wood Golf Simulators. After many wonderful years at our current location, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our doors on May 25, 2025.
As many of you know, the direct costs of running a business, especially in today’s commercial market, can be challenging. Opening in a global pandemic - bring it on, record setting utility costs - we got this, the first business of it’s kind on Vancouver Island - let’s go. In spite of our unwavering resilience, we’ve seen a significant and unsustainable increase in our rental costs at this location, making it impossible to continue providing the exceptional experience you’ve come to expect. While we explored every avenue, it’s become clear that a change is necessary to ensure Iron & Wood’s long-term future.
We want to emphasize that this may not be goodbye, but rather a hiatus. We’re actively exploring all options to bring Iron & Wood back to Victoria in a way that allows us to thrive for years to come. The community here means the world to us, and we’re committed to finding the right path forward.
Looking back, we’re filled with immense gratitude for the memories we’ve created together. From friendly competitions to celebrating those perfect moments, you’ve made Iron & Wood a truly special place. We’ve been honoured to share our passion of “good vibes” with you.
Gift cards & Punch Cards are happily accepted up to May 25th. After that, there are no guarantees so best to use everything up! We’re thrilled to bring back our iconic Masters Event in early April, where we’ll be serving up our signature Azalea cocktail and celebrating the start of the golf season. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a final round with us before we take this pause.
We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to sharing our next chapter with you. Before we close on May 25th, we invite you to join us for one last swing!
