What an incredible showing for VAAA at the BC High School Track & Field Championships!

🎉 Congratulations to Stefan Schuch, who battled against the province’s best to earn 6th place in Senior Boys Long Jump and 7th place in the Senior Boys 100m. A fantastic achievement on the provincial stage!

🥇 A huge congratulations to Vienne Bredick, who soared to BC Champion in Senior Girls High Jump, bringing home the gold medal, while also securing an impressive 4th place in Long Jump!

We are so proud of these athletes for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding performances representing VAAA and our community. Way to go, Stefan and Vienne! 👏🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💙

Track & field isn’t just about what happens on the field, it’s about what gets built off it.

Every practice, every rep, every attempt teaches something powerful:

💪 Showing up even when it’s hard
⏱️ Consistency over perfection
🎯 Repeating skills until they become second nature
🧠 Focus, patience, and mental discipline
📈 Small improvements that add up over time

Shot put, jumps, sprints, throws, none of it happens overnight. Progress comes from repetition and routine.

That’s where the real win is.

Track doesn’t just strengthen bodies…it strengthens habits that last a lifetime. 🌱
