SECOND SET OF SKEVIKS — Just bought my wife a new set of Skevik Antons for her birthday, a couple years after getting some Loken99s for myself. Growing up in Vernon (living not to far away now), I marvel at the quality and craftsmanship of this local gem and enjoy buying/supporting local whenever I can. What might be even more impressive that the product is the service. Glenn went out of his way to ensure the perfect fit, offering his professional opinion and advice. They truly value their customers and will go to the ends of the earth to ensure you are confident in your purchase. I spread the good word everywhere I go (Sun Peaks to Red Mtn). I’m a customer for life.

ANTON IN JAPAN — I’d been going back and forth whether to get new skis for a few seasons. With the end of a big project finally nearing after 3 long years, it seemed as good a time as any. I’ll admit it was a hard choice between the Anton and Sevrin but I eventually went with a pair of Anton 168 All Mountain (97) with the Howl top sheet. Glenn could not have been more helpful advising throughout the process and then prepping the skis to ship here to Tokyo. It won’t surprise anyone that the Antons handled beautifully in powder, but it was a pleasant surprise how stable they were for being so light. We had a bit of a strange season (2024-25) around Niigata and Nagano but no matter the conditions, the Antons were equal to it. Best (skiing) decision I’ve ever made.

LOVE THESE SKIS — Sevrin, Length / 180
Shape / Frontside / 91
These carve so well. Butter comes to mind. Third pair of Skevik skis, love all of them. These are great for those resort days, carving the corduroy, playing around with the kids, or just screaming down the hill with your favourite song playing.

ROWDY AND RESPONSIVE! — 2024/25 was my first full season of skiing, and I somehow managed to come out the other side of it with not only one - but two pairs of Anton’s.

I’ll focus on the pair I bought new: custom, with a length of 165 and a waist of 103. Despite every chairlift expert telling me I needed a pair of carving skis, I followed my heart and chose something I could enjoy everywhere, even on the icy days. Some say that these are “useless” on groomers, but I couldn’t disagree more! They have some amazing and sturdy edges, that held up despite my occasional clumsiness and my “agricultural” spring skiing. During the height of the resort freeze/thaw cycle, they kept me upright and in control.

But, of course, it’s elsewhere that they really shine! They are some of the most playful and soulful skis i’ve ever encountered! Which… I don’t have as much experience with ski ownership and ridership as some others, but I think it’s simple math. They’re springy and agile, but charge through the slop like a pair of cruise missiles. If you give them a chance to catch air, they’ll take it! I’m not much of an adrenaline j***y (yet), but I found that they delivered me safely through each and every little chance I took to push my envelope.

Further to their sturdiness, I’ve been absolutely delighted to see not even one nick in the base. They almost look brand-spankin’-new! Despite being put through it since January.

I absolutely cannot wait to get back on them in November. But for now, thanks to the beautiful art on the top sheet, they are displayed proudly in my living room - waiting for their next ride.

AWESOME ALL MOUNTAINS — My Anton 102’s are my new favourites. Ontario skier here where the conditions range from pure ice to powder depending on where you are on the hill that day. These things handle it all with ease. I wish I bought them sooner.

After talking with the Skevik team I landed on a custom Anton build (186cm, 104mm) to handle the majority of days. With the perfect balance of stability and playfulness these have far exceeded expectations and have become a one ski quiver. From groomer and we’ll into 15+ cm of pow, these excel in all conditions. I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

SWEETEST SKI YOU’LL OWN — I am a professional ski patrol and I got the Anton 122 with King Pin bindings. I look forward everyday to putting my Antons on. They float in the deepest of pow days, are stable through chopped pow and bumps, and still hold an edge on groomers. In the backcountry, the Anton122 is in the perfect weight range for slaying that big line you’ve eyeing up or lapping the trees at your favourite zone.
