✨ Coach of the Year ✨

The Coach of the Year Award is selected by the Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach and recognizes an outstanding coach who has made a significant impact during the 2025–2026 season.

This year, we are honoured to recognize Brooklyn MacKenzie as the recipient of the 2025–2026 Coach of the Year Award 🤍

Brooklyn has exemplified everything we look for in a coach and leader throughout this season. She is admired by athletes, parents, and fellow coaches alike for her professionalism, positivity, and unwavering commitment to the athletes she works with each day.

Brooke consistently creates an environment where gymnasts feel supported, challenged, and inspired to become the very best versions of themselves. What makes her such an exceptional coach is her ability to lead with both confidence and compassion, developing not only strong gymnasts, but also confident, resilient, and respectful young people.

Throughout the season, Brooke has demonstrated an incredible commitment to learning and professional growth. She embraces feedback, continues to refine her coaching, expand her knowledge, and always looks for ways to become even better in her role.

Her passion for gymnastics is evident in everything she does. Brooke leads by example, fosters a culture of excellence, and consistently goes above and beyond to support both athletes and the coaching team. Her dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact on our program and have helped make NVG stronger this season.

✨ Xcel Gymnast of the Year ✨

The Xcel Gymnast of the Year Award recognizes an athlete who demonstrates outstanding dedication, achievement, sportsmanship, leadership, and competitive success throughout the season.

This year, we are so proud to recognize Hailey Payne as the recipient of the 2025–2026 Xcel Gymnast of the Year Award 🤍

Hailey is the perfect example of an athlete who truly loves the sport of gymnastics. She comes into the gym every day ready to work hard, give her best, and continue improving. Whether learning new skills, refining technique, or pushing through challenging moments, Hailey approaches every opportunity with determination and a positive attitude.

Throughout the season, Hailey has shown incredible resilience by facing challenges head-on, overcoming fears, and never letting setbacks stop her from growing. Her perseverance, dedication, and commitment to becoming the best version of herself make her a true role model for her teammates.

Beyond her gymnastics achievements, Hailey leads through her work ethic, coachability, kindness, and sportsmanship. She represents everything we value in our Xcel program and is such a deserving recipient of this award.

✨ CCP Gymnast of the Year ✨

The CCP Gymnast of the Year Award recognizes an athlete who represents the highest standard of commitment, leadership, perseverance, sportsmanship, and excellence within our program.

This year, we are so proud to recognize Genevieve Timms as the recipient of the 2025–2026 CCP Gymnast of the Year Award 🤍

Genevieve is the definition of an athlete who is hungry for success and always striving for more. Throughout the season, she has shown incredible dedication, pushing herself through challenges, learning new skills, refining her routines, and constantly working to become better.

What truly sets Genevieve apart is her mindset. She never settles for “good enough” and continues to raise the bar for herself while trusting the process. Her work ethic, determination, and passion for gymnastics inspire everyone around her.

Beyond her accomplishments, Genevieve leads with kindness, humility, and sportsmanship. She celebrates her teammates, supports those around her, and represents the values we strive to build within our CCP program.
