Dominique Jamandron - Junior Instructor
Dominique has been passionate about dance from a young age, dancing from the ages of 3 to 18. Growing up in Kingman, Alberta, she trained in Tofield throughout her dance career in tap, ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, contemporary, and pointe.
Throughout her years as a dancer, Dominique gained teaching experience by assisting with classes since the age of 14 as well as choreographing solos along the way. Her love for dance and working with children inspired her to teach at VSB this year. She is excited for the opportunity to give back to the dance community and help create the same positive experiences that made dance such an important part of her own life.
Dominique is currently completing her Early Childhood Education diploma at Lakeland College in Vermilion, and will graduate in June. This year, she hopes her dancers learn to believe in themselves, grow their confidence, and remember that dance is about more than perfecting steps, it is also about having fun, expressing yourself, and being proud of your progress. She’s very excited to join the VSB family and is excited to learn and grow with the kids along the way.
