SAVE THE DATE (July 17-19, 2026)

The Vegreville Bunnock Tournament brings families, friends & businesses together for a weekend of fun. The tournament takes place on the Vegreville Ag Society grounds, camping is available, food trucks, entertainment, prizes, 50/50 draw.

Teams consist of 4 players. From the first bone thrown, the tension is obvious - every Bunnock standing feels like a challenge, and every Bunnock knocked down gets cheers. Close calls get groans. Miss throws will get laughs. Big shots stop conversations. Before long, everyone’s invested. Spectator's are fully engaged in this game called “Bunnock”.

Bunnock is easy to learn and all-ages can play. Bunnock creates that rare mix of laughter, rivalry and shared moments. It turns open space into a focal point. Games are played on Saturday & Sunday teams are playing for the win. There’s cash prizes and unique trophies to be won.

Please share with your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, anyone who is interested. The Game of Bunnock has players hooked after playing for the first time.

THANK YOU families, friends, KIDSPORT crew, Vegreville Agriculture Society, Town of Vegreville, EVERYONE that has supported, registered, trusted in this yearly event.

To organize an EVENT such as the Vegreville Bunnock Tournament this takes many people, many hours, months, days leading up to & after for the weekend to unfold, despite not having any control over the weather forecast. As we know, volunteers are often exhausted and would rather not commit themselves to anything more.
