Congratulations, Nico! ❤️⚽
From day one, from the first time I saw you play, I knew what kind of player you were.
Even with those little glasses on, you were smart, tough, quick and determined. And you were always temperamental 😂 — you hated losing, you never wanted to lose the ball, and you never seemed to get tired.
You would run and run and run. If you lost the ball, you wanted it right back. You competed for everything. And of course… you were spicy. Very spicy. 🌶️😂
But when I look back today, what means the most to me is how many years we spent together.
So many years watching you grow. Watching you play. Watching you compete. Watching you come to the field happy, just being a kid and enjoying the game you loved.
And Nico, we were always happy to see you.
I truly loved watching you play. You were one of those kids that, as a coach, you just enjoyed having on your team. You brought personality, energy and that competitive fire every single time you stepped onto the field.
I still remember the time you got a red card. When you came off the field, I told you, “Good for you, Nico. That’s the way. Always stand up for yourself.”
I wasn’t even upset about the red card. 😂
Because I knew you. I knew your character. That fire was part of you then, and it’s still part of you today.
And maybe that’s one of the reasons you’re where you are now.
Seeing you playing First Division today makes me incredibly proud. They are lucky to have you.
But no matter how far football takes you, I’ll always remember that little kid with the glasses — running everywhere, never getting tired, never wanting to lose the ball, never wanting to lose a game, and always bringing a little spice to the field. 🌶️⚽
I had the privilege of watching you grow up, Nico, and those memories will always stay with me.
You didn’t just play for FB SOCCER CLUB. You are part of FB SOCCER CLUB. You are part of our family, you are part of our history, and you always will be.
Keep going, Nico. Keep fighting. Keep dreaming. And most importantly, keep being Nico.
Congratulations from Coach Faby and your entire FB SOCCER CLUB family.
Once FBSC. Always FBSC. ❤️⚽
