✨ New Season. New Studio. New Opportunities. ✨

We’re excited to begin our 23rd VIBA season this September 12 and welcome both new and returning students to our Orientation & Registration at our brand-new location!

September 9–12
Wed–Fri: 4–7 PM
Sat: 10 AM–1 PM

During Orientation, students can be assessed for class placement, and audition for our Pre-Professional and Professional programs.

At VIBA, we offer programs for dancers of all ages and levels, from Little Ballet Stars to Pre-Professional and Professional Ballet, Adult Ballet, and Competitive programs.

Our students have the opportunity to perform in large-scale productions, participate in local and international ballet competitions, and receive exceptional training based on the Vaganova method.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our returning students and meeting many new dancers this season!

We’re so excited to be in Italy 🇮🇹 with i.d.a. Junior Company, performing on tour throughout Southern Italy!

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have our Co-Director, Kirill Lordski, join the tour as a Guest Principal Artist, while also having our graduating VIBA student, Evelyn, take part in this unforgettable experience.

What an incredible opportunity for our team and students to perform, learn, and share their passion for dance internationally! ✨🇮🇹

Faculty Announcement 📢

We’re excited to introduce our incredible 2026 VIBA Summer Intensive Faculty, an inspiring team of internationally acclaimed artists, educators, choreographers, and healthcare professionals dedicated to helping dancers grow both technically and artistically.

✨ Piotr Stanczyk – Former Principal Dancer, National Ballet of Canada; internationally sought-after ballet master and rehearsal director.

✨ Jera Wolfe – Award-winning choreographer whose acclaimed contemporary works have been created for The National Ballet of Canada, Canada’s National Ballet School, and leading dance organizations across North America.

✨ Sabina Yapparova – Former Soloist, Mikhailovsky Theatre, with over 22 years of professional experience.

✨ Victoria Mironova – Founder & Artistic Director of VIBA; Vaganova Ballet Academy graduate and former Soloist with the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

✨ Ani Aharonyan – Trained at the prestigious Perm Ballet School under renowned Vaganova pedagogue Lyudmila Sakharova. Internationally recognized ballet educator, choreographer, stage director, and adjudicator.

✨ Vladyslav Romashchenko – Former Second Soloist, National Opera of Ukraine; instructor with the National Ballet of Canada’s InStudio program.

✨ Liza Lordski – Former professional dancer with the Moscow State Ballet Theatre; Co-Director and Principal Teacher at VIBA.

✨ Kirill Lordski – Former dancer with Ballet Jörgen Canada, the National Ballet of Canada, Victoria Ballet Company, and Tiny Pretty Things; Co-Director of VIBA.

✨ Jesui Monterrubio – Guest Artist with Victoria Ballet Company, specializing in classical technique, ballet history, and movement science.

✨ Dr. Anna Rybalko – Chiropractor, ballet teacher, and former dancer dedicated to dancer health and injury prevention.

Behind the scenes at VIBA: The making of Sleeping Beauty ✨👸

It’s almost showtime, and we’re ready for it! 💖✨

We’ve been hard at work preparing for our year-end performance, and this season we’re thrilled to feature a dreamy excerpt from Sleeping Beauty: Aurora’s Birthday & Gala Performance. 👸

✨ ACT I features professional and pre-professional students alongside invited guest artists in a beautiful and vibrant excerpt from Sleeping Beauty.

✨ ACT II showcases dancers big and small in a diverse program featuring ballet, contemporary, and character dance.

Staging a new ballet every season isn’t easy, but it’s what we love to do. So much thought, creativity, and dedication goes into preparing choreography, costumes, and perfecting every movement. Most importantly, we love giving our students the opportunity to experience this as part of their training and artistic growth.

Two exciting announcements ✨
