CANADA'S BEST KARATE FOUNDER TO BE INDUCTED INTO CANADIAN BLACK BELT HALL OF FAME
It is with great pride that we announce CBK Founder, and Sensei to our own Shihan Scott Bullard, Shihan Bob Mueller will be inducted into the Canadian Black Belt Hall Of Fame in a special ceremony this coming October in Richmond, BC.
Shihan Mueller will join the likes of Masami Tsuruoka (HOF 2006 - Father of Canadian Karate), Judo Olympian Doug Rogers (HOF2007), Wally Slocki (HOF2006), The Ice man Jean Yves Theriault (HOF2009), Patrick McCarthy (HOF2012), UFC Champion Georges St. Pierre (HOF2022), and many other nationally recognized Martial Arts Pioneers.
Shihan Sr began training in Parksville BC with Sensei James A MacDonald in 1975. He began teaching Karate Professionally in 1980, then began a 25-year Entrepreneurial Odessey creating Dojos in Brockville, Kingston, Victoria, Vancouver and Parksville. Later, Mueller's life story, as told by NFL Films, won an EMMY Award in 2008.
Shihan Mueller says that he feels gratefully humbled to join this elite group of Martial Arts Pioneers, Teachers and Competitors. The real gift is the 45 years of personal contributions by the thousands who have participated, and the hundreds of Black Belts he inspired to follow in his footsteps.
On behalf of the Vaughan CBK dojo, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Shihan Mueller for this incredible and well-deserved honour!
