Big save. Listen to the group (audio on) 🗣️🧤 This is the energy we train for.

Not every save is going to be beautiful. Some are ugly, unorthodox and instinctive. Don’t give up on the play chasing perfection, it doesn’t matter. Champions aren’t the ones who make it look easy, they’re the ones who refuse to give up and prevent the ball from crossing the line, whatever it takes. That’s a decision you make before the ball is even played, a habit that becomes second nature allowing you to react instinctively which eliminates that moment of hesitation on match day. You compete until it’s dead. Every time.

Two days that reminded me why I built this academy.

I don’t measure a clinic by the highlight reel. I measure it by what I see in my students when no one’s watching. the extra rep, the dive they didn’t have to take, getting back up and doing it again without being asked. So proud of you all.

Every age. Every starting point. Same respect for the work. Nothing is more important than making mistakes, having the ability to dust it off and learn from them, and respecting the process.

This one had a very special guest on the touchline. Thank you to liv busby for attending our clinic, we started with you at 10 years old and now you have become such a wonderful role model to the future generations.

Humility. Respect. Discipline. Everything else is built on that foundation, or it doesn’t last. These are the most important values at Elite One Goalkeeper Academy.

Starting in August, we’re opening small group clinics, 4 keepers per coach, so every rep gets seen. Spots are limited and acceptance-based, because the standard matters more than the headcount.

Top Hand Extension Saves & Breakaway Stops 🚫🧤

Working on replicating two of the most technically demanding saves in the game, the top hand extension and the breakaway stop.

Two big saves by and .ortega1 that kept their teams in it, executed through precise footwork and elite goalkeeper IQ in the moments that mattered most.
The top corner save begins with a micro-adjustment, loading power and tension into the body before the dive, then extending the top hand beyond what feels possible to reach the shot. It’s not just athleticism. It’s preparation.
The breakaway stop is about reading the play early, staying on your feet as long as possible, and making yourself big at exactly the right moment.

No shortcuts. No exceptions. The standard doesn’t change based on age, it’s the same demand for detail, the same intensity, the same commitment to becoming something special.
