Headwater Ranch guides will take the hunters to the stand in late afternoon. Guides will pick up hunters around dark as per hunting regulations, or when hunter wishes to be picked up. We have base radios in the guides trucks and at the main base. For rifle hunters we will take them to a target range to sight in their rifles prior to the hunt. Just to make sure nothing got bumped around during travel. For hunters flying out we will pick you up at the Winnipeg airport. The hunter ‘s responsibility:

Hunter education number/card for all hunts
Own food and cook
Coolers for meat/hide to transport home
Meat storage materials e.g. bags, paper, tape
Safety harness for ladder stands
Orange clothing/hat (2.8 sq.ft. blaze orange above the waist and visible from all sides)
Warm clothing
