Another great morning at the Vankleek Hill
Pickleball Courts!
Perfect temperature, the new windscreen worked well and as we’ve seen so often this year, the rain held off until we finished playing. Fall is such nice time to be playing outdoors!

Great to see the new blue lines that were painted last week.
Looking ahead to next year, we will be able to host 24 players playing one time, on six courts!

Tonight’s the night!
If you plan to join us for indoor pickleball in the coming months, don’t forget that registration and our first session happens at 6:00’p.m. tonight at VCI.

Indoor pickleball begins at VCI on Wednesday Sept 9 at 6:00 p.m. we play until 8:50 p.m.
This year we will be playing pickleball on Wednesdays and badminton on Mondays. Membership cost is $35 for the year and that includes both activities. Balls will be provided.

Outdoor pickleball will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays as long as the weather allows. Lately the weather has been absolutely perfect!

Reluctantly we have decided to cancel pickleball this morning, We’d Aug 19, 2026 due to rain.

It’s great to see that installation of the windscreens has now been completed at the VCI courts. Hopefully this will mean more days that the community can play pickleball.

Our regular Monday/Wednesday morning summer schedule continues as usual. Players are returning from vacations.

We’ve had a lot of days this summer that begin with heavy overcast skies and rain in the forecast but then turn out to be perfect pickleball sessions. Let’s hope tomorrow (Wednesday) will be another one of those!

Welcome to our newest player, Jean Paul, who joined us on Wednesday morning and had a great time learning about the game and meeting future friends. He's vowed to return this Monday.
We have a great community and pickleball just keeps growing in popularity!

Tomorrow morning (Monday July 5, 2026) is shaping up to be another great one at the Vankleek Hill Pickleball Courts. Environment Canada is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud and a temperature at 8: 00 a.m. of 18 degrees.

Occasionally, when you arrive at 8:00 a.m. sharp, don't be surprised to see that some people have arrived ahead of you and have already been playing for a while. That's been happening more often these days as players take advantage of cooler early-morning temperatures. Whether you are retired, on holidays, or have to got to work, early morning pickleball is a great way to start your day.
