It rained Tuesday night and Wednesday morning so you could be forgiven for thinking our local pickleball courts were empty yesterday.
In fact the weather cleared shortly before 8:00 a.m., Glen got the water squeegeed off the courts and some of our keenest players showed up. Our regular Wednesday morning session was a blast!
Our last game of the day was so much fun that no one even thought of quitting until the game was over despite the fact that a warm rain had returned and was gaining intensity. Everyone everyone involved got drenched!
Don't believe the rumours you hear about pickleball being addictive!
We do request that everyone bring a few balls when they play in our sessions.
This Monday we will have bags of 10 Franklin X-40 USAPA approved outdoor pickleballs available at the courts for purchase at our cost ($30.00, tax included). This is a one-time, special opportunity. You might want to check with friends and other players to see if they are interested in splitting a bag.
