A BIT MORE INFO HAS BEEN ADDED. PLEASE READ AGAIN.

The Vankleek Hill Curling Club will be hosting the annual Golf Tournament at La Cite. Mark your calendars! September 10th. First Tee off is at 9 am.
Cost is 100$ per person. It includes golf, cart and yummy steak dinner back at the club. (Steak, baked potato, and sides)
Pay by cash on September 10th, when you arrive.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Pitt, Bruce or Wayne.

Just a few clarifications for the upcoming golf tournament on September 10th, 2022.
Cash or cheque to the VKH curling club can be used for payment the morning of the tournament.
Also, you will be required to cook your own steak for dinner.

Subject – Plans for year end for the VKH curling club.

TO ALL VANKLEEK HILL CURLERS: members who aren't curling and social members



Plans for year – end at the club.



1--- after this draw finishes, we will curl for another 6 weeks, till APRIL 8 , 2022.

It will be one long draw for the 6 weeks.



2--- at the end we will have a MIXED DRAWS BONSPIEL. A sign-up sheet to enter will go up shortly.

3--- we would like to have a BBQ to close out the year.

We are going to put up a sheet at the club – could you please check yes or no on this, if you would attend this BBQ - so that we can see how many people would be interested in doing this.

Get ready curlers!!!!!!!
Curling will restart in 2022 on Monday, January 31st.

New draws will be posted on the website by Saturday, January 29th. All curlers will be included in the draws that they played in before the Christmas break. If plans have changed or a curler does not want to participate in one or more draws, please advise Kyla Burwash at [email protected] by Tuesday, January 25th.

PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID PROTOCOLS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED INCLUDING ONE-SWEEPER AND MASKS IN LOUNGE WHEN MOVING AROUND.

FEBRUARY IS HEART MONTH

Due to Covid 19, the Vankleek Hill Curling Club cannot host our annual event to raise funds for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Your support over the past 6 years has been greatly appreciated. We are asking you to make a donation to the Heart Institute throughout the month of February. All donations made at the VKH Curling club will be matched. We hope to host this heartwarming event in 2023.

Please drop off your donation to the VKH Curling Club mailbox. All donations can be made by cheque to The University of Ottawa Heart Institute or by cash. If you wish to have a tax receipt your donation needs to be $20 or more. Please also indicate your name and mailing address on the slip below to ensure your tax receipt. All donations can be made throughout the month of February. The final day for donations is Friday, February 25th, 2022.
