This morning sending a few arrows down range sighting in, I thought for sh*ts and giggles I'd send a few through the chronograph to see what 60lb @ 31" draw is doing. To my surprise, my 430gr arrows are cranking out at 286 fps. 😆

Well folks, everyone is always asking what I'm flinging with now, Lol. I just finished setting up a Prime Nexus 6 with a Black Gold Dual Trac sight, RipCord rest, Trophy Ridge stabilizer and a TightSpot quiver. Running Victory arrows again as well.

With the help from my nephew Kalem Koehmstedt, Boyd Armstrong, Jordan Ogier, Pam Geernaert and Emily Koehmstedt, the 2026 Bowhunter Challenge is wrapped up. To those that made it out, thank you for your support and enduring mother nature's mood swings. With what seems to be declining interest, not certain for future events.

We've started our setup and it's going to be an absolute fantastic time. Challenging shots, great people, food and many laughs. Rain or shine we'll be out having a good time. Lots of camping space available. See you all this weekend

Good morning friends, family and archery peoples. It's coming up quickly now. Our annual Bowhunter Challenge 3D event is going to be a fantastic time again.
