There’s no such thing as perfect and continually striving for perfect may leave us feeling like good isn’t enough. Which in turn can feel like we are not enough. This can lead to high anxiety and burnout. Instead, let’s strive for learning and growing and leaning into self compassion. allows us to shift these patterns so that we can focus on meaning instead of perfection.

Not knowing which step to take next?

Getting stuck in indecision or find yourself spiralling with taking too many things on?

Do you ever find it hard to know if you are making the right (for you) decisions?

A Simple trick I use... to ensure my decisions feel like stepping stones towards what I really want to be inviting into my life, rather than distracting me and taking me on a detour...

Take a minute or two of listening time to evaluate what’s right for you. The fastest path to where you want to be is found when you accept where YOU are.

It’s easy to get lost in someone else’s journey because their highlight reel looks sexy on social media.

Checking in with yourself means being present with yourself when you make decisions and being committed to going at your own pace on your own path instead of someone else’s or according to someone else’s expectations that don’t serve you or your mission.

To give you a tool for checking in with yourself first, below are a few questions that Debbie Ford introduces in her book, The Right Questions. She instructs us to use these questions when making decisions.

Questions from Debbie Ford’s book, The Right Questions:

• Will this choice propel me toward an inspiring future, or
will it keep me stuck in the past?

• Will this choice bring me long-term fulfillment, or will it bring me short-term gratification?

• Am I standing in my power, or am I trying to please another?

• Will this choice add to my life force, or will it rob me of my energy?

• Is this an act of faith, or is it an act of fear?

Ask yourself first.

xoxo...Kerry
