Valkyrie WMAA was founded in 2012.

We are a group of passionate enthusiasts from a range of backgrounds brought together by our shared interest in Western Martial Arts. Students with all levels of experience and fitness are welcome to join us. Our program is focused on teaching proficiency in three fighting domains: grappling, striking, and edged weapon work. We offer training for both experienced martial artists and complete begin

ners. Students will build a strong foundation in the mechanics, tactics, and philosophy of Western Martial Arts, and have the ongoing training they need to develop a unique, effective fighting style while dramatically improving their overall fitness. Over the next week or two, we'll be updating our website to get a new scheduling/payment system up and running, and tweaking our class calendar to account for instructor resources and the shift of some of our classes to outdoor, in-person training.

The current booking system will be up in the meantime, but information may be spotty and there might be some brief outages to our site itself.

All current students will be kept up-to-date on important changes via email and internal announcements.

It is finally park playtime season! A few of us got together for some slow play and sparring outdoors this weekend. It was so wonderful to play with swords in person.
