Little known fact: Did you know that the ZJW Manchu bow, sold though Manchubows.com, actually has a name? ;)
It is called “虎尾” or "Tiger Tail".
In the bowyer's own words, here is the reasoning behind the name:
“虎尾”是来自中国传统射箭的一句话:前手如推泰山,后手如握虎尾。另外,清弓满弓柔和,但是动能略大,箭重,撒放时,颇似手拽虎尾,虎尾虽柔,但是虎蹿却猛。
Translation:
"Tiger Tail" comes from a maxim of Chinese traditional archery: [ Bow hand pushes Mount Tai; String hand holds tiger's tail ] . Furthermore, though Qing / Manchurian bows have an easy draw, they produce great kinetic energy and are paired with heavy arrows, such that, upon release, it seems like you pulled on a tiger's tail. The tiger's tail is flexible, but the tiger's pounce is fierce.
Now you know :D
Also... the new and improved model from JZW, the "Tiger Tail II" is on its way. Stay tuned for more details and other exciting announcements coming very soon ;)
