Where most MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) foundations focus on sport fighting, alleviating defense
measures and strikes bounded as illegal in a sporting arena; Lao Wai focuses on the
(traditional) quick learning method of Wing Chun which cultivates sensitivity, isometric
awareness and focuses on a calm, direct and calculated approach to defense which, in turn,
breaks down the ego and engages it's teaching in everyday life.

::: Someone, once upon a time, suggested to someone that they put their keys between their fingers and used as a punching weapon... Do this and put slight pressure into a pillow increasing the pressure and you'll see why it's a bad idea.

This Wing Chun club, once upon a time, give a monthly women's self defense class for free. Now that we're doing classes on Sundays it might be something to consider again for Vancouver...
