UBC Metropolitan FC was established in 2007 by UBC students.

Metropolitan FC is a Vancouver Metropolitan Soccer League Club operating out of Vancouver's west end and primarily serving UBC students, graduates, staff and community members. The inception of the club into the VMSL saw the realization of the founding members goal to provide a local soccer option to UBC Students and players throughout the Vancouver Community. The 2013 - 2014 Season is the club’s

7th year in operation, and has seen the club a step towards refocusing and re-committing to providing the quality experience for our players that has brought the club so much success in the past. Our Vision

Our VMSL Division 4 team is looking for experienced defenders for the upcoming VMSL season. Our group is primarily made of 30+ year olds that have previously played at a high level and are looking to continue playing soccer with a well organized and community focused group. We have a strong returning core that finished 2nd last year in the VMSL Div4 and is looking to add 1-2 defenders to our squad. We are based out of UBC and the surrounding area and will be having small-sided scrimmages through the summer to meet new players.

Friday night lights for both men’s teams this weekend. The Div3 men turned in an outstanding performance despite not getting the result they were aiming for, while the Div2 side fell short leaving too much to do until too late. The ladies have the weekend off.
