I know some of you have photos like this…

I’m working on the next Let’s Go Biking Vancouver guidebook and looking for fresh, local images.

Easy rides.
Real places.
Everyday people enjoying the ride.

If you’ve captured a favourite stretch — a path, a park, a moment — I’d love to see it.

I’m excited to be part of the BC Bike Show at the Vancouver Convention Centre

📅 February 28 & March 1
📍 Booth #1914

I’ll be there with the Cycle Tourism Vision Team — HUB Cycling, Trails BC, British Columbia Cycling Coalition (BCCC) and Go By Bike BC Society — talking about what’s possible when we connect communities through great places to ride, walk and roll.

I’ll also be signing books, sharing stories from the road and chatting about easy cycling adventures around the world (yes — the senior and family kind too!).

If you’re coming to the show, please stop by and say hello. I’d love to see you.

Let’s keep building a province that’s not just beautiful to look at — but beautiful to explore.

Interested in Cycle Tourism in BC? Peter Ladner interviews me on the BCCC podcast series: "Imagine riding along dedicated trails through ancient forests and pristine valleys, stopping at local cafes and wineries along the way. This vision of cycle tourism isn't just a cyclist's dream – it's a billion-dollar economic opportunity, as Let's Go Biking author Colleen MacDonald." Hope you enjoy it!

A dream-come-true attending the ribbon cutting event on the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail! Kukpi7 (Chief) Michael Christian gave an inspiring talk and told how all the regional groups worked together to make this dream a reality. It was an exciting ride on the amazing Sicamous Ferry and I enjoyed meeting board member Mike Miltimore, Captain Jimmy Thomas, and Phil McIntyre-Paul of the Shuswap Trail Alliance. Come on up and see this amazing section of the trail! https://www.letsgobiking.net/advanced/lets-go-biking-snort-shuswap-north-okanagan-rail-trail/
