✨ In my wheel destroying era ✨ 🛞 💥

The only time I’m not recording myself on the bicycle I crash into a median. Luckily I stayed upright, once I knew I was going to crash I tried to hop it but instead just went wheel first. Glad I could ride home. It wouldn’t take any PSI above 20, but made that awful clicking noise all the way home.

Completely destroyed an aluminum rim. Bussed in the next morning because it was dead flat and wouldn’t take air.

Luckily I work at a bike shop. 🙌🙌🙌 was able to swap everything over myself and get back out in about 30 mins.

Ever destroyed a wheel? This is my first 🫠

Cities need more spaces like these 👏 🌳 🚲

Stumbled across the Bute St greenway riding home from the West end of Vancouver BC 🇨🇦 and was pleasantly surprised. An awesome space for people to play, sit, relax, socialize, enjoy food or drink right beside an all ages and abilities bike path. Connected me right to Haro st which brought me down to burrard st to get home.

This video starts at the intersection of Bute st and Davie st.

Bute Street is an important 1.5 kilometre north-south route through the downtown peninsula. It connects Burrard Inlet to False Creek through various
neighbourhoods like the West End, the Central Business District, and Coal Harbour.

Another reason to love cycling in Vancouver ❤️

An hour on the seawall well spent.

In retrospect I should have made my sign a little better 😂 but had a lot of great conversations. Topped up 11 cyclists tire pressures and lubed 4 chains.
