Is traffic crazy in Vancouver right now? It sure is. So skip the stress and jump on a bicycle to get around. Free parking, no traffic…etc etc etc you’ve heard it all before.

Cruising around the seawall is truly one of the most scenic and Vancouver things you can do. Ride around Stanley park, zip along our gorgeous beaches and enjoy the sunshine.

I will sit behind a Cycling Without Age Trishaw any day. Vancouver Cycling Without Age Society If you aren’t familiar, that is a volunteer “Pilot” that provides free recreational bike rides to seniors and individuals with limited mobility.

They often ride around the city in groups of 3-5 Trishaws bringing the joy of cycling to seniors homes one sunny day at a time.

No amount of slowing down can counter the amount of joy it brings me to see everyone enjoying the beauty of our city from the seawall (and by bike).

Go follow Vancouver Cycling Without Age Society to learn more!! They are some amazing people ❤️ you can even sign up to be a pilot yourself!

Granville street will never recover. It’s not even a game day here in Vancouver and the patios are packed. ❤️
Quite the atmosphere and a bonus that we could get around by bicycle super easily. 🚴‍♂️ 💨

Really pushed my mechanic skills to the edge by struggling to get the park tool tubeless patch in, but I did it and it WORKED. They rode over to our store on west 10th and we were able to pop on a new rear tire for them!

Good thing I had just recharged my Air rush pump ⚡️ And swapped over my tubeless repair kit from my other bike 👌👌

A reminder that tubeless sealant in your tires should be topped up every 4-5 months and probably even more often with the summer heat we will be getting. Stop by and get yourself a tubeless tire puncture kit today! Or have a chat about the benefits of a tubeless system!

This pump rocks 🔥 1 year later and I’m still excited to have it in my pannier and to be using it.

My rating 8/10. The battery isn’t amazing, but it’s GOOD.
This pump is also loud, so if you like to turn heads and are happy with people asking “hey what is that?” every so often, then it’s for you. But if that’s all I have to complain about 👌👌👌

It’s small enough to fit in most frame bags, it’s more eco friendly than using Co2 cartridges AND you get to pump to an exact tire pressure! I leave in my daily commuting pannier and it has not only helped me, but saved a few strangers around the city.

It does up to two full road bike tires on a single charge and can do both presta and schrader valves.

As a daily cycling commuter around Vancouver, I can’t recommend it enough.

A lot of discourse around stop signs recently.

Is it time that our motor vehicle act evolve to reflect the reality of how cyclists are actually riding? Are the benefits of saved time and energy for the cyclists worth the potential safety risks of the Idaho stop?

With Idaho stops illegal in Canada but legal in 9 US states….there is something to talk about. Cyclists are held to the same laws as motor vehicles in Canada. But it’s a clear double standard when people call out cyclists for running stop signs and red lights when motorists do it too. ( just more dangerously) Often times cyclists break these laws with intention and caution rather than cars doing it with negligence. Of course that’s not always the case for both cyclists and motorists.
