Our Community Bikes (OCB) is the best known project of PEDAL. It is a full service repair shop, bicycle recycling depot and an educational workspace for people who wish to repair their own bikes or learn how to do so. Our shelves and bins are stocked with new and used parts, and our mechanics do their best to help. Click the link below to support our free bike program! https://pedalpower.org/get-involved/

Ever wondered how much $$$ bike programs save the Canadian public? Our Community Bikes and Vancouver Cycling without Age teamed up with the SFU Community Scholars program to find out!

The answer...bike programs like ours save millions in health spending and help keep people stay active, connected and independent. That's a pretty great return on investment for going on a bike ride every now and then!

Our Community Bikes with support from Walk Bike Roll Vancouver is offering a series of free, multilingual bike repair workshops throughout September 2026.

Workshops will be offered in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Spanish, and with American Sign Language interpretation (ASL), making it easier for more members of our community to build practical bike repair skills.

hey folks! We’ll be closed September 6-8 for a staff trip. That means no shopping or volunteers on Sunday the 6th, and no Bike Club or ESGA night on the 8th.
If you’ve been wanting some service for the last spurt of camping season, come get an assessment and we’ll try to squeeze ya in before then.

And just like that… Crosscut Bridge is open! 🌉✨

The ribbon is cut, the first wheels are rolling and the first steps are happening across our brand-new pedestrian and cycling bridge! 🚲🚶‍♀️

The celebration is on until 4pm with community booths, kids activities, and plenty of people coming out to commemorate this moment together.

A new bridge. A new connection. A new chapter for our community. 💙
