The Metro Van Tennis Meetup Group is a place for tennis lovers to convene, organize games and matches, promote the sport of tennis, and most importantly, to have fun! We're the fastest growing, most active and most fun tennis Meetup in the Greater Vancouver Area! We host over 5 events during the week (including weekdays and nights) more than any other tennis group. Our events are available from th
e North Shore to Delta and from Kits to Coquitlam. If you're a new tennis player or rusty, do join us! We're here to help you find your game with sponsors to help get you properly equipped. When you join us for events, PLEASE use a real picture of you as your profile avatar: This REALLY helps other members, event hosts and organizers recognize you when you come to a Meetup (in case you don't recognize them). You may be marked as no-show if you attend an event and not recognize anyone. If you leave without talking to anyone or the Organizer/host, they may think you actually didn't show up! Take time to find the other members when you arrive at the Meetup OR AT LEAST familiarize yourself with who the Organizer/Event Host is so you know exactly who to approach when you are at the courts! You aren't required to pay anything to be part of this group, though we appreciate any donations of $5 or higher, whatever you can give. Your donations allow Andrew to pay our monthly meetup dues which keep this group active. We grow stronger as a tennis network when there are caring members and helpful volunteers who help us organize our group. If you have suggestions for fundraising events, please confer with Bryan or Andrew. We strive to create a safe and comfortable social network environment for our members therefore No soliciting or harassment allowed or tolerated here. As a member, if you've been approached by other members and feel uncomfortable, please let the Organizers know and we'll deal with the situation quickly. Our busy Organizers volunteer their time, effort and resources to host events for you. If there's something you'd like to do, just let us know, and with a little bit of your help, we will organize the event.
