BC Soccer is the largest provincial sport organization (PSO) in BC; the third largest soccer-specific PSO in Canada. We are a not-for-profit society which is membership-based and has a Board of Directors elected by the membership.

Werner Winsemann remains the only Canadian referee selected to officiate at a FIFA World Cup, serving at the 1974 tournament and representing Canada on the game’s biggest stage.

His impact on soccer in BC and across the country continues to be recognized today.
