🚨 PDC YVR FACULTY: SARAH DOLAN

Sarah Dolan is a celebrated choreographer, director, mentor, and adjudicator who has been supporting the dance world with her creativity and leadership for over two decades. She served as the Artistic Director of O2 the Dance Company since its inception in 2010 and also led the YYC Dance Project during its final years. Her diverse and dynamic career spans commercials, music videos, film, television, and live performance. Sarah has had the privilege of working as an assistant choreographer on major productions including CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada, FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance (U.S.), BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance UK, and CBC’s Over the Rainbow. She has also contributed to Art on Ice as both a dancer an Assistant Choreographer/Creative Director, with global music artists such as Jessie J, The Jacksons, Nelly Furtado, Tom Odell, and HURTS, as well as Olympic and World Champion skaters including Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir, Meryl Davis & Charlie White, Kurt Browning, Joannie Rochette, and Aljona Savchenko & Bruno Massot.

Her choreography credits include standout performances for the Juno Awards with Alessia Cara, along with projects for Paul Brandt, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Shawn Hook, and Hockey Canada. Beyond her own creative work, Sarah is a passionate mentor. Many of the dancers she has worked with have gone on to remarkable careers—performing with Cirque du Soleil, on Broadway, in film and television, on international tours, and alongside global icons such as Beyoncé and Celine Dion. Others have trained at prestigious institutions including Juilliard, USC and Arts Umbrella, and have earned accolades such as winning So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Currently, Sarah serves as an Associate Director with a creative team developing shows for Celebrity Cruises and as a Producer at Only Child, where she has recently been involved in building new productions for MSC Cruises. 🚨 PDC YYC FACULTY: JULIA BOSE

Julia Bose came into this world with an innate need to create, and a love of music and movement. Born and raised in Victoria BC, she explored many different dance disciplines, leading to the discovery of her love for Tap, Hip Hop, and Choreography. Julia has performed all over the globe, including Las Vegas, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Mexico, New Zealand, Italy and Montreal, at world renowned Street Dance
events. After making the move to Vancouver, Julia competed with TwoFourSeven Company. Their emotional Body rock win caught the attention of “America’s got Talent” producers, who flew them all to California to try their luck with the judges. This experience opened up the door to the TV / Film world, which Julia is currently pursuing (credits include Riverdale, Motherland, and Another Life), as well as commercials
(Google, Activia, Expedia, Front Door, Johnsonville, Columbia, and more), music videos, and live performances.

🚨 PDC YYC FACULTY: JUSTINE GERA

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Justine Gera (she/her) has extensive training in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, ballet, jazz-funk, musical theatre & commercial heels. She has trained and worked throughout Canada, the United States, Spain, Paris, & London, England. Justine currently resides in Los Angeles with an 0-1 visa. Justine began her professional dance work with Patrick Roberge Productions in Vancouver gracing the massive stages of the 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, the Pacific National Exhibition and industrials for Telus, New Balance and Canadian pop artist Victoria Duffield. She continued on as a Triple Threat Dance Convention tour assistant to world class choreographers; Tyce Diorio, Jillian Meyers, Luther Brown, Megan Lawson, Tina Landon, NAPPYTABS, Sean Cheesman, Nick Lanzisera, and Jason Samuel Smith. She had the amazing opportunity to assist all across Canada and in Los Angeles with TTDC. Justine’s notable film and television credits include a recurring chorus performer/character on season 2 of Schmigadoon! (AppleTV+), School Spirit’s (Paramount+), Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ and The Voice (NBC), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW), Christmas Chronicles 2 (Netflix), Motherland: Fort Salem (Freeform), and the Disney Channel original movies Freaky Friday and Descendants 2. Justine can also be seen in a global commercial for the NFL.

Justine works as a choreographer at Royal Caribbean International and is also involved in the casting process as she travels all around the world for their global auditions annually. More recently, Justine has choreographed a brand new ‘Sailaway’ number that is in the process of being installed fleet-wide. She has worked extensively in Miami on the production team(associate/choreographer) for Odyssey, Spectrum, Allure, Navigator, and Wonder of the Seas. PDC is proud to welcome JUSTIN GERA to our August 10th faculty at Calgary Dance Teacher Expo. Career highlights include Schmigadoon! (AppleTV+), School Spirit’s (Paramount+), Christmas Chronicles 2 (Netflix), choreographing for Royal Caribbean International, dancing in music videos for Kyle Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, and Charlie Puth. Justine has worked as associate choreographer to Zachary Venegas working on numerous & ongoing projects such as music videos for Sabrina Claudio, Marshmello x Tokischa, and BIA, a global commercial campaign for ’The Sims’ featuring latin superstar Anitta, and HYBE LABELS.
