Please welcome our newest kin: Jericho
Jericho’s passion for rehabilitation and human movement began through sport. Growing up playing rugby, he developed a deep appreciation for training, performance, and the constant pursuit of improving on the field. Rugby also showed him how physically demanding sport can be and how quickly injury can threaten the activities that shape who we are. That experience sparked a lasting interest in rehabilitation: understanding how the body recovers, adapts, and returns to doing what matters most. Jericho later pursued this passion at the University of British Columbia, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
For Jericho, rehabilitation is about more than recovering from injury; it’s about preserving independence and quality of life. Whether that means getting back to a favourite sport, keeping up with children or grandchildren, managing household tasks with confidence, or simply enjoying a hike or bike ride on a beautiful Vancouver day, Jericho works with clients to restore the movement that matters most to them. He also strongly believes in the value of prehabilitation, which involves building strength, resilience, and better movement habits before injuries occur. His goal is to create programs that are practical, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s lifestyle and goals.
During his undergraduate studies, Jericho worked as a student kinesiologist, gaining experience supporting a diverse range of clients, including young children, professional athletes, cancer survivors, individuals with osteoporosis, and patients living with dementia. While rehabilitation is now his primary focus, Jericho continues to explore movement in his own life through swimming, hiking, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai. He believes that staying active in many forms helps him better understand and support the diverse goals of the people he works with.
