2 EASY things you can TODAY to have a better workout 👇🏽
1️⃣ Make sure you have a minimum of 2 Litres of water before your train. I would recommend even more if you’re low carb since you wont be getting the water you’d normally get from eating carbs. Hydrated muscles are the best way to ensure you can perform at your peak. This usually isn’t a problem if you train later in the day since you’ll drink and eat all day before training. But be mindful if you’re working out first thing or early morning.
2️⃣ Bananas 🍌, they are your best friend when it comes to avoiding muscle cramping and optimizing performance, especially in the 2nd half of your workouts. We naturally loose potassium through sweat, and the degree to which your muscles contract depends heavily on having the right amount of potassium in your body.
BONUS TIPS:
👉🏽 Add Salt to do your pre workout drink or meal to ensure adequate sodium as it’s another key electrolyte to ensure peak performance, which is depleted through sweat.
👉🏽 Magnesium, yet another key electrolyte which improves hydration in the muscles and causes muscles oxygenation.
