My client’s doctor told her she did something extraordinary.
She did not.
She just finally had someone who told her the truth: your body is not broken. It is responding correctly to the wrong inputs. And the inputs can be changed.
In three months her glucose levels reversed.
Numbers her doctor had described as stable. As just how her body was now. As something to manage rather than reverse.
When she went back for her follow-up, her doctor used the word extraordinary.
I want to tell you why that word is wrong, because it matters for every woman reading this who has been told her numbers are just how her body is now.
What she did was not extraordinary.
What she did was finally address the right variable.
For years she had been doing what every standard health protocol recommended. Adjusting her diet. Managing portions. Exercising consistently. And her body had responded with silence. Not because she was failing the protocol. Because the protocol was starting at Step 2 and skipping Step 1.
Step 2: the food. What to eat, when, how much.
Step 1: the nervous system. The chronic cortisol load that was telling her liver to release glucose continuously, telling her cells to store rather than burn, keeping her blood sugar dysregulated not because of what she ate — but because of the state her body was in when she ate it.
When we addressed Step 1 — when the cortisol load came down, when her nervous system finally had the condition it had been waiting for — her body responded. Fast.
Not because we found a better diet.
Because we finally gave her body the right sequence.
The result was not extraordinary.
The sequence was.
And the sequence is available to any woman whose body has been responding correctly to the wrong inputs.
