Last week’s Back to School backpack giveaway was made possible by some truly generous partners. 🎒💚

Thank you to Penny Appeal Canada - Charity for donating the backpacks, care kits, and volunteer power, Wicked Carib (R) - CARIBBEAN FOOD CULTURE (R) for serving up some incredible food, and Kits for a Cause and Sunbelt Rentals for coming through with additional backpacks and supplies for our community.

Over 300 families walked away ready for Back to School thanks to your support! 🙏

A huge thank you to Kits for a Cause for donating hundreds of additional backpacks for our families as part of last week’s Back to School backpack giveaway! 🎒❤️

Kits for a Cause connects corporate volunteers with community organizations like ours, bringing teams together to assemble care kits that go directly to people who need them. It’s an incredibly impactful way for organizations to give back and we’re so grateful they thought of West Scarborough.

This week we teamed up with Penny Appeal Canada - Charity for a major Back to School backpack giveaway, sending 300 children off with backpacks full of school supplies and serving almost 400 plates of food to the families that came through. 🎒💚

A huge thank you to Penny Appeal Canada - Charity for generously donating the backpacks, Wicked Carib (R) - CARIBBEAN FOOD CULTURE (R) for feeding the community with some amazing food, and Mark Strong for helping make this all possible.

And just like that, Summer Camp 2026 is a wrap. 🌞🎬

What a summer it’s been. Centre Island, Wet’n’Wild, Thomson Park, Brooks Farms, Woodbine Beach, the Toronto Zoo, African Lion Safari, and so much more in between. To every camper, family, staff member, and partner who was part of this season, thank you. You made this summer truly amazing!

Our final trip of the 2026 Summer Camp season took us on a road trip all the way out to African Lion Safari. 🦁☀️ A one-of-a-kind experience that included guided tours through the safari, playgrounds, and animals up close that had our campers absolutely losing it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better adventure to close out an incredible season for our kids and community. 💚
